Intellectual Property

Some thoughts of another person to be verified
"This may be too radical for many, but patents are arguably not legitimate property. An interesting argument is made that ideas are limitless, and therefore the concept of property is irrelevant. (Property rights being a system of preventing conflict over scarce resources). All the same, the pharmaceutical industry in Europe prospered quite well in an environment where chemical entities could not be patented. Swiss companies, like Sandoz, could not patent pharmaceutical products until 1976."
