Quote 335That the only purpose for which power can be rightfully exercised over any member of a civilised community, against his will is to prevent harm others. His own good, either physical or moral, is not a sufficient warrant
-- Stuart Mill

What is forced safety?

Safety that must be done, even if the participants object or do not consent.

Wider definition

What is safe?  More forced extra safety, rather than forced safety.

What is wrong with forced safety?

It comes with baggage, and that baggage is a loss of freedom. Some may value their freedom more than their safety, these people lose out.

It is not death we wish to avoid, but life we wish to live.
