Swearwords are a form of communication

I don't like to hear swearing, I don't swear, I don't see any need for them in shows. But what I hate more is watching a show, and hearing beeps. It ruins the suspense of non-belief.
Additionally its distracting, what did the actor say, and why did someone feel the need to stop me hearing it?
